Finally a step in forward direction: Live-in and pre-martial sex isn’t public matter
I stumbled across a Supreme Court ruling which dismissed a plea in which a Tamil actress was charged for live-in and pre-martial affairs Note: This post contains some strong language. I was always amazed throughout my life to hear that live-in and pre-martial sex is unethical. Fine! It is bad according to the culture, but isn’t it a private matter between two people? Who are we to say what they should do and not. Our country is infested with so called moral-police who are more interested in others life than looking into their own lives. This moral-police also includes the police who is meant to protect us from exploitation. Another thing which baffles me is that how people teach us that we should not have sex before marriage. Words like “Sex is bad, you should keep distance from it”. Then after marriage, they expect a kid even when the couple doesn’t want to take so much responsibilities immediately. Of course, the couple needs time for themselves. Anyone who talks about sex publicly is looked down upon as a vulgar indecent person. This disparity is even more severe for girls. The self-declared society considers them whores, even though guys are let off just as loose-characters. In all these culture and moralism, they forget that having sexual attraction is not wrong, but actually natural. People should actually be worried if they are not aroused seeing something hot or erotic. The number of rape cases are increasing not because more youngsters are seeing (so-called) vulgar movies, but because India is one of the most sex-deprived country in this world. When those guys are left with no-other option to satisfy their sexual feelings, some random girl/women become a victim of their desperation. To actually see the real situation of the despos in India, you just need to roam around on Orkut. You will find millions of despo guys trying to make friendship with random girls. “hiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!11” , “do u wan 2 du franshep wid me” , “u luk gud, fraands?” are some of the most classical scraps which should be preserved in the social-networking museums. This is one of the million reasons why girls on Orkut are so reluctant to upload their real snaps as their profile photos. To sum, up we should start first minding our own business. Who gets laid with whom is none of our concerns. Our real concern is how the nation should progress. If you have so much of free time, better go and help the poor, educate the poor guys rather than educating young guys/girls about the great culture, esp when those youngsters will say “Bloody MoFu. He’s a SoB” behind your back when you finish your lecture and leave.
